Introduction

BVSc or Bachelor of Veterinary Science is an undergraduate degree that comes under medical discipline.BVSc full form is Bachelor of Veterinary Science. The course duration is 5½ years with last 6 months being compulsory internship tenure. BVSc is also called BVSc and AH which is elaborated as Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. Bachelor of Veterinary Science deals with the study of medical diagnostics, and treatment of diseases of all the animals. Veterinary doctors are very important considering the number of animals that humans pet. Veterinary doctors treat all kinds of pet animals such as dogs, cats, cows, buffalos, as well as wild animals, birds and reptiles.


BVSc course is divided into 10 semesters equally excluding the compulsory internship time. BVSc and AH course graduates have a high probability of getting government jobs. They can also start their own veterinary clinics or work in research centres to develop new medicines.
